An elegant table in a historic Old Town mansion

PACAI is the restaurant of Hotel PACAI, a five-star hotel set in a 17th-century mansion built by the aristocratic Pacas (Pac) family, in the heart of Vilnius's Old Town on Didžioji Street. The dining room carries the building's quiet grandeur without feeling stuffy, and in good weather the inner-courtyard patio is one of the loveliest spots to eat in the historic centre.

The kitchen cooks approachable, globally-influenced dishes that pair familiar ideas with an unexpected twist — beef tartare with kimchi, ratatouille with a tzatziki sorbet — leaning on Nordic and Asian accents and seasonal produce sourced from local Lithuanian farm partners. There are distinct offerings across breakfast, weekday lunch, dinner and a much-praised Sunday brunch, plus a multi-course tasting menu Monday to Saturday evenings and well-made cocktails from the bar.

It's a natural choice for a celebratory dinner or a slow, special-occasion brunch. Service is consistently described as attentive and professional, and the setting — historic, intimate, candlelit — makes it one of the city's go-to rooms for couples. Reservations are wise, especially for weekend evenings and brunch.
