The short version
  • The rock 'n' roll theme is done properly — murals by local artists, music on the room TVs when you arrive, and suites themed on icons like The Beatles and Madonna.
  • Heated bathroom floors and a free 24-hour gym at a solidly mid-range price.
  • About ten minutes on foot from the train and bus stations, with a large supermarket directly across the street.
  • The breakfast buffet draws consistent praise for its wide spread of hot and cold organic options.

Rock 'n' roll between the station and the Old Town

Comfort Hotel LT wears its concept on its sleeve. This is a music-themed hotel with its own rock radio station, murals painted by local Vilnius artists, and rock playing through the TV when you walk into your room. It sits on Kauno gatvė in the Station District, a short walk from both the train and bus stations and an easy — if slightly hilly — stroll into the Old Town proper.

The rooms are modern and urban in style rather than plush, with genuinely comfortable beds and heated bathroom floors, a small luxury you don't expect at this price. Add the free 24-hour gym, fast Wi-Fi and a lively lobby designed for lingering, and it makes a strong case as the city's most characterful mid-range bed.

Good to know

The location works hardest for anyone arriving or leaving by rail or coach: both stations are roughly ten minutes away on foot, and the supermarket opposite covers snacks and picnic supplies. Breakfast is one of the hotel's strongest cards, though it's popular — at peak hours the room gets crowded and you may wait briefly for a table.

Two honest caveats. Standard rooms deliberately have no minibar or fridge — the hotel wants you down in the sociable lobby — and one can be requested for an extra fee if you need it. Parking is available but paid, and the fee strikes some guests as steep. The walk into the Old Town also involves some up-and-down streets, worth knowing if stairs and slopes are a struggle.
