Plant-based cooking that wins over everyone

RoseHip Vegan Bistro has become a Vilnius favourite by proving that plant-based food can be the main event rather than a compromise. The fully vegan menu is creative and generous — burgers, bowls, ramen and plant-based takes on comfort-food classics — and it consistently wins over committed meat-eaters. The name is a wink at the look: 'rose' for the signature pink palette and 'hip' for the trendy, modern styling that runs through the room.

Beyond the international dishes, the kitchen has fun with local tradition, serving a vegan version of šaltibarščiai, Lithuania's cold beetroot soup, alongside touches like plant-based bacon and bao buns with BBQ soy cutlets. The Beyond Meat and Mexican burgers, the ramen, a clever fish-and-chips and the bao buns are the dishes reviewers come back for. Lunch specials are good value and come in generous portions.

Good to know

The atmosphere is a big part of the draw — stylish and welcoming, with good music, cosy indoor seating and a pleasant outdoor area, and a dog-friendly policy that makes it easy to bring a four-legged companion. The friendly staff and lively, colourful plates keep regulars loyal.

RoseHip sits on Pylimo g. 22D, on the edge of the Old Town, and its popularity means it gets busy; reservations are recommended, particularly for indoor seating. Current opening hours have run roughly 11:00–22:00 (later on Friday and Saturday), but confirm on the venue's own channels before visiting.
