The lowdown on Skonių Karavanas

Skonių Karavanas brings a genuine taste of Uzbekistan to Vilnius, with a kitchen led by experienced Uzbek chefs and a fully Halal menu of traditional recipes. The doughs and noodles are made in-house, which shows in the hand-pulled lagman and the steamed manti, and diners consistently single out the plov — many call it the best in the city, and the restaurant leans into it with a regular Sunday 'Plov day'. Portions are generous and prices reasonable, and the warm, traditionally decorated room with friendly, multilingual service makes it an easy place to settle in.

There's a dedicated section for vegetarian and vegan guests, plus made-to-order whole cakes including a striking vertically-layered honey cake. Note that no alcohol is served. You'll find it where Švitrigailos meets A. Vivulskio in Naujamiestis, with dine-in, takeaway and delivery (Wolt, Bolt Food) all available.
