The short version
  • A fully vegetarian menu with plenty of vegan options, in generous portions.
  • A cosy, plant-filled room often described as having 'Bali vibes'.
  • Family-friendly, with a dedicated children's play corner.
  • Popular for brunch — it gets busy and loud at weekends, so booking ahead is wise.

A plant-based brunch favourite

The Urban Garden sits at J. Basanavičiaus g. 3, a few minutes from the Old Town near the New Town fringe, and it has become one of Vilnius's best-loved brunch spots. The draw is healthy, generous vegetarian and vegan cooking served in a cosy, beautifully decorated room that diners often compare to a 'Bali' hideaway. Staff are consistently described as friendly and welcoming, and a dedicated play corner makes it an easy choice for families.

The menu is fully vegetarian with a wide vegan selection, leaning on fresh, filling plates: avocado toast, shakshuka, curd pancakes, a burrito, and smoothie or açaí bowls are among the regular favourites. You will likely view the menu via a QR code at the table.

Good to know

Because it is so popular, the cafe can get crowded and loud — especially at weekends — and service may slow at peak hours, so it is worth booking ahead. It is also listed as a Vilnius attraction in its own right under our See & Do section. Opening hours and the current menu can change, so confirm them on the cafe's own channels before you visit.

Best for
vegetarian and vegan brunch, families, a relaxed weekend meal.
Tip
reserve for weekends; expect to order from a QR-code menu.
