The short version
  • Baking studio and bistro tucked into a quiet riverside park
  • Seasonal desserts, custom cakes and beautifully plated pastries
  • Summer terrace and a winter garden with a fireplace
  • Linkmenų g. 30A, in the Neries senvagė park area

Why we like Bruknė

Bruknė (Kepinių studija Bruknė) is a much-loved "hidden gem" tucked into Neries senvagė park, blending the warmth of a home kitchen with a modern bistro style. The mood shifts with the seasons — a lush summer terrace when the weather is kind, and a snug winter garden with a fireplace when it isn't — which makes it an easy, relaxing stop on a walk rather than a destination you have to plan around.

At its heart it is a baking studio, so the beautifully presented desserts and custom cakes are the main draw, but the menu also runs to savoury snacks, panini, heartier hot dishes, coffee and wine. Staff are regularly praised as friendly and attentive; some guests do find prices on the high side for the portions, so it leans more treat than everyday canteen.

  • Banoffee pie with mascarpone, caramel and banana is a signature
  • Croissants and seasonal pastries for breakfast or a snack
  • Beef cheeks and panini among the savoury favourites
  • Hosts small private celebrations for up to about 20 guests

Good to know

Bruknė sits at Linkmenų g. 30A, just outside the Old Town in the green Neries senvagė park, so it pairs well with a riverside stroll. Check current opening hours and book ahead for cakes or private celebrations directly with the studio.
