Sacred treasures of Vilnius

The Church Heritage Museum (Bažnytinio paveldo muziejus) is set inside the beautiful, historic Church of St Michael the Archangel on Šv. Mykolo Street in the Old Town. Its collection of sacred art is exceptional — liturgical vestments, intricate monstrances and treasures, some dating back to the 14th century — and the experience reaches across three distinct sites: the Cathedral Treasury, the Bell Tower and the atmospheric Crypts beneath Vilnius Cathedral.

Good to know

The museum is at Šv. Mykolo g. 9 and is generally open Tuesday to Saturday (with a later closing on Wednesday) and closed on Sundays, Mondays and public holidays. The Crypts are visited by guided tour only. As hours and ticket prices change, confirm them on the official site before you go, and consider a guide to get the full story.
