The King Mindaugas Bridge (Karaliaus Mindaugo tiltas) spans the Neris River and is celebrated for its beautiful panoramic views, making it one of the city's most enjoyable crossings. It connects the historic Old Town with the modern city centre, and its clean, contemporary design is a highlight in itself — a favourite route for pedestrians and cyclists as well as a scenic spot to simply pause.

It's a prime photography location: the views take in Gediminas' Tower on Castle Hill and the wider city skyline. Come at sunset or in the evening to catch the bridge and the riverbank beautifully illuminated against the lights of the city.

Visiting and nearby

The bridge sits within an easy walk of the Old Town's northern edge, near the National Museum and Castle Hill, so it's simple to combine with a riverside stroll. The promenade along the Neris on either side is perfect for a walk, with walking and cycling paths, riverside bars and access to boat trips on the water.
